Feature your product in one of these parallel programs and reach not only the audience you want, already
assembled by ITACCS, but have a special monograph and/or videotape prepared about your product in trauma, for distribution to professionals by your sales force, as well as through the extensive ITACCS networks. ITACCS believes it is important to educate individuals involved in trauma patient care about products which
may be of value in this arena.
ITACCS arranges special commercial seminars that focus on both broad and specific topics of interest to the registrants attending scheduled scientific/educational
events (open seminar), as well as the marketing and sales forces of corporate entitities (closed seminar). In addition, through "videoconferencing" technology the
seminar can be aired in interactive format to locations remote from the main site, thus allowing a larger audience.
ITACCS has worked with pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing companies around the world to arrange expert faculty, meeting space, logistics, etc.
for satellite seminars that examine a specific topic or topics. These sessions are simultaneously recorded and subsequently transcribed and/or videotaped for post
production editing. Then the "raw material" transcript and master tape are reviewed, edited, and further developed by ITACCS experts to produce an "educational
monograph" and/or "video-brief ," which is distributed via the client company's sales force to practitioners in the field.
Companies have found this vehicle an excellent mechanism by which to educate the professional community that constitutes their market as to established, new
and/or evolving uses of a product . The program is also useful for educating the company's marketing and sales staff.
The same faculty that presents the session will also be available to be part of an in-depth marketing focus group (see below), to conduct detailed interactive
exploration of your product in the developing trauma market.
Either or both of these programs could be combined with a package to allow you to also take advantage of participating in our extensive trade show and hands-on
clinical workshops.
ITACCS has published more than 10 books to date with major medical publishers worldwide, and in record time (See ITACCS Publications).
ITACCS has become the recognized world leader in education, training and research in trauma anesthesia, emergency medicine and critical care, with programs
spanning the spectrum of educational media being distributed around the globe.
ITACCS has produced such monographs for many pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies already. The monographs we have developed for other
clients are available for your review and as examples.
To be sure that the proposal is clear to you:
- ITACCS is offering a "turn-key " format for an educational program that focuses on the market issues relevant to your product and its related technology.
- The educational program is developed in concert by your company and ITACCS. ITACCS would poll potential faculty members and coordinate with them on
possible topics. These topics would comprise a first-draft detailed outline for the session, which are then forwarded to you for review. Once we receive approval to
proceed from you, we will develop a detailed outline for the presentations and then submit it to you for examination, revision and discussions.
- The speakers are solicited and prepared by ITACCS. You will have the opportunity to speak with them in advance, should you so desire.
- You can proceed in a "step-wise" fashion, thereby maintaining positive control on the development of the product, and having several built-in "bail-out"
opportunities:
Pricing Information
Phase I
Seminar Staging (funding required $5,000.00) - ITACCS designs the program, organizes the speakers, arranges the meeting room, and announces the
program to symposium attendees. This also covers the cost of audio recordings (videotaping is additional).
Phase II Transcript/Manuscript Development/Conversion (funding required $7,500) - The master tape is transcribed, and then reviewed and re-reviewed by
ITACCS to produce a "first stage" manuscript. This manuscript is then reviewed by you and your colleagues and further direction is decided.
Phase III
Monograph Development - The "first stage" manuscript, after review by you, is taken on to the "second stage" (revised and buffed manuscript complete
with figures, tables, etc.). The manuscript is then handed to our commercial developers, which "distill" the manuscript, 8 1/2 x 11 inch, brochure style, with a heavy
cover, complete with call-outs, etc. Prices for monograph completion vary with total number ordered, beyond phase I and II development costs noted above.
Pricing for the further development, editing, typesetting and printing of ITACCS monographs is explained below. It is assumed that the cover of the monograph will
be 3-color (2 PMS colors plus black), 100-lb. glossy stock and the inside text will be black-and-white, 50-lb., matte stock.
Pagination is available in 16 and 24-page formats. In choosing formats, sponsors should consider that the greater the information the larger the number of CME
credits granted, which may affect readership.
